Housing Selection for 20262027: What Families Should Know

As our Raider students settle into the spring semester, 做厙勛圖 is already preparing for the year ahead. Housing selection for the 20262027 academic year has officially begun, and current students are encouraged to start planning where theyd like to live next fall.

To make the process smoother than ever, students can complete every step of housing selection online through the . A brandnewis also available, offering a comprehensive look at the process, key dates, and answers to frequently asked questions.

Who Is Eligible?

Both residential and commuter students may participate if they:

  • Plan to be enrolled full time for Fall 2026
    • Undergraduate: 12+ credits
    • Graduate: 9+ credits
  • Have no active financial or administrative holds

As a special perk, all current residents automatically receive abonus priority pointduring housing selection.

How the Process Works

Students complete the following steps online:

  1. Sign the Housing Contract and submit the Returning Student Housing Selection Application.
  2. Update their MCR Housing profile and questionnaire.
  3. Pay the $250 Returning Student Housing Deposit through Colleague SelfService. (This deposit is credited to the Spring 2027 bill and is refundable until May 1 if the student withdraws or switches to commuter statusbeforeselecting a room.)
  4. Form an initial roommate group.
  5. Watch for an email with their specific selection time.
  6. Log in during that time to select available rooms.
  7. Continue participating in selection rounds until a room is secured.
