Graduating students should plan to arrive at the Tsongas Center by 8:30 a.m., dressed in full academic regalia, including cap, gown, hood, tassel, and any applicable cords or stoles.<\/p>\n

Graduating students and guests are welcome to park at the George A. Ayotte Garage, which is located directly adjacent to the Tsongas Center. You can reserve your spot in advance<\/a> through the garage\u2019s website.<\/p>\n Graduating students should check in at the large tent in Lot B. You\u2019ll receive your name card there and be directed to the lineup area.<\/p>\n The main entrance doors open at 9:00 a.m. Seating is first-come, first-served, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to get a good seat.<\/p>\n There is no guest limit. You are welcome to invite as many family members and friends as you\u2019d like to share in your celebration.<\/p>\n Handicapped parking on-site is very limited. Guests who need assistance are encouraged to be dropped off near the west side entrance of the Tsongas Center, which provides access to the handicapped entrance ramp.<\/p>\n Yes. Handicapped seating is available on the concourse level of the Tsongas Center. Tsongas Center staff will be happy to assist you upon arrival.<\/p>\n The procession begins promptly at 10 a.m. Graduating students will line up outside under the tent and be escorted in by the marshals. Please note that students arriving after 9:30 a.m. may not be able to walk in the ceremony.<\/p>\n Yes. The Tsongas Center has bag restrictions and other venue policies in place. Please review their full policy page<\/a> before you arrive to ensure a smooth entry.<\/p>\n Yes. All graduating students are asked to remain for the full duration of the program out of respect for their fellow graduates.<\/p>\n The ceremony length varies depending on the number of students participating, but plan for approximately two hours.<\/p>\n Yes. Rivier partners with Grad Images to capture your moment on stage. About seven days after Commencement, you\u2019ll receive an email at your Rivier address with information about viewing and purchasing your portraits. You can also visit www.gradimages.com<\/a> directly. If you haven\u2019t heard from Grad Images after that window, reach out to them at 1-800-261-2576 or ecc.giservices@gradimages.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n Each graduate will receive a StageClips video by email at their Rivier email address, courtesy of the University’s Alumni Association. Graduates may download and share the video with family and friends as a keepsake of the moment they crossed the stage and received their diploma.<\/p>\n Yes.
