Bhumip Khasnabish, Ph.D.
Background
Dr. Bhumip Khasnabish is a Technology Evangelist with a passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and photography. In addition to his professional pursuits, he enjoys activities such as running and yoga.
A champion of full-lifecycle infrastructure development and management, Dr. Khasnabish bridges the gap between raw edge data and autonomous cloud intelligence to drive enterprise transformation. His recent work includes advanced networking and services (e.g., leveraging 5G/B5G and edge cloud technologies) that utilize Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Cognition/ML/AI/Analytics, Digital Forensics, and other emerging technologies and methodologies.Â
In his 1992 doctoral dissertation, Dr. Khasnabish utilized Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) for packet routing in high-speed networks. He has also held positions at Verizon/GTE, ZTE, FW-Boston Research Center, and BNR/Nortel.
